Australian Institute of Health and Welfare (AIHW)
A major review for the AIHW on the effectiveness and future direction for the Medical Indemnity National Collection (MINC). The MINC is a national database held by the AIHW that brings together medical indemnity claims information from public and private insurers in each Australian state and territory. 
 
Cabrini Health
Investigation of attitudes and issues of Cabrini Hospital Malvern ward staff in relation to the receipt of patients from the  Emergency Department.
 
La Trobe University  
Assistance has been provided with a number of projects, including:
  • Coordination for the Rural Health School of an NHMRC Partnerships for Better Health grant  on population health planning for rural Medicare Locals (successfully funded in the 2012 third call for funding round).
  • Coordination of a joint application between the Faculty of Health Sciences and a number of research partners (including University of New England, Dental Health Services Victoria and the Australian Health Workforce Institute) for NHMRC Partnership Centre funding.  
  • A high level environmental scan of developments within Australia in potentail areas of research for the Faculty of Health Sciences to pursue.

Mercy Health  

Preparation of grant proposals for Werribee Mercy Hospital  (WMH) that sought Australian Government funding in the Increased Clinical Training Capacity (ICTC) and the Innovative Clinical Teaching and Training Grants (ICTTG) funding rounds in 2009/10. We also provided assistance with the development of a Services Plan for WMH to be submitted to the Victorian Department of Health.

Monash  University, Department of General Practice 
Preparation of a tender submission to General Practice Education and Training (GPET) Australia, to conduct a project on developing a 'best practice model of community-based intern education and training' that can be used as the basis for a potential ongoing internship program.
 
Northern Melbourne Medicare Local (NMML) 
Development of service specifications for the region-wide deputising service, general practice incentive grants and Partners in Recovery (PiR) programs.
 
QBE Insurance 
Relationship management on behalf of QBE Insurance for the WorkHealth partnership with WorkSafe Victoria. AP Associates provided liasion between QBE and WorkSafe Victoria and between QBE and their clients (employers) who were being asked to provide WorkHealth checks for their employees. 
 
Southern GP Training  
Conduct of the Practice Nurse Education Feasibility and Environmental Scan project, that determined the current state of play of practice nurse education within the Southern GP Training footprint and the overall feasibility for the organisation of entering the practice nurse education market.
 
Victorian Managed Insurance Authority (VMIA)
Assistance has been provided with a number of projects, including:
  • Relationship management with Victorian public health services 
  • Development of a new premium allocation model for medical indemnity insurance provided by the Victorian Department of Health for Victorian public hospitals 
  • Development of the business case for a patient safety culture survey in Victorian public hospitals, being facilitated by VMIA and the Victorian Quality Council. 
 
Victorian Department of Health
A risk assessment of the breastmilk bank initiative at Mercy Hospital for Women. The risk assessment was a key  part of the process that enabled the Mercy Health Breastmilk Bank to commence operation in early 2011.
 
Gymea Community Aid and Information Service 
Assistance with the preparation of program funding submissions to the Department of Social Security.
